The main house is a space with a big dining table, a double sleeping sofa, a fully equipped tv-dvd set, the fireplace and an office. The room is full of light as we brought a sky light into the room. There are 2 doors that open up to the kitchen and to the courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped, and spacious enough, with a dining area. All the kitchen furnitures are made of old wood. Discover the beautiful handmade closet, which was constructed a long time ago and graces the room. The kitchen door leads you start to the courtyard.

On the other side one can get into the hallway with the main bathroom and a bedroom. The kitchen is also the place where you can go up to the bedroom area, found upstairs. There are 2 bedrooms that both have air-condition and a bathroom next to them. They both contain double beds, and sufficient space in the closets to tuck away your clothes. If desirable, in both rooms, a baby cot can be placed, upon request. Both of the bathrooms have a shower, a basin and a toilet. The bathroom furniture is made after our own design, and the mirrors are made by our artist friend, Inez Lacunes, as mentioned above.

On the outside, you will find a ground floor patio, with dining table and a sitting couch. The house has 3 different roof terraces. On the 2nd level of the house you are going to find a built-in BBQ, 2 dining areas and a double hanging bed under a pergola.

On another roof terrace one can lie in the sun and feel what greek holidays mean! Lay on the double size sun bed, hidden behind walls, for hours while reading your book and enjoy a cold beverage along with your favourite music. On the 4th level, roof terrace one can sleep and relax on the hanging bed with a pergola on top for full protection. Its ground level is used as living room and dining room, but there is also a dining area outside at the courtyard.

Its upper level consists of two pataras (= wooden traditional Koskinou platform bed), which are set at different levels and are accessed by individual staircases. Each one of them can host two people. There is one well sized bathroom with basin, shower and toilet. In order to be even more comfortable, another small toilet with shower and basin has been built. The house has been built to be private, if wished, but in the midst of a very sweet and friendly neighborhood. After having had holiday here, one can truly say that one had a Greek holiday, and not a typical tourist one.

You enter Myrtia house via an charming enclosed courtyard. Walk inside the holiday home to the lounge dining area with a double sofa bed or to the well equipped kitchen and adjoining a beautiful bathroom. Next to the bathroom is the downstairs bedroom, which has mosquito nets over the beds, and cosy lighting. Going upstairs you will find the nice wooden double bed, and an en suite bathroom, full of beautiful colors. From the bedroom you can go onto the terrace with the kitchenette and BBQ which is also reachable through the outside stairs. One terrace further up, one can enjoy on the sun beds and enjoy full privacy because of the walls around. One terrace further is the hanging bed for 2 people with mosquito nets, so one could even sleep there. From this terrace you have a sea view and you can see Turkey and Marmaris.

The Myrtia house is a very happy rental house, full of beautiful and intensive colors. The place is only for rent, since the May of 2010. We dedicated two years to its renovation and turned it to the beautiful holiday house that it has become. Its renovation has laid to the most cosy holiday home, the perfect place for spending your precious vacations. Spend some quality time under the light of the candles that are found everywhere The lightning is always dimmed, indirect and warm. It is very important for us to mention that most of our artistic lamps and mirrors are made by our good friend Inez Lacunes, who lives and works in Lachania, where she sells her art.
